Special Requests
CASAs are encouraged to submit a special request for any need or service that helps their CASA child through the dependency process. These needs are in addition to those normally paid for through Child Protective Services, foster-care subsidies, or other children’s organizations protocols. We regularly pay for tutoring, furniture, and emergency clothing. In addition, the Council has paid requests for glasses that have been lost or broken, trips to see siblings, summer camps and cultural experiences, judo or karate lessons, art equipment and lessons, computer equipment for school, musical instruments, school trips, and bicycles. These are only a small sample of the requests granted over the years.
To submit a request, please use one of the short forms in the links below. Please submit your request form to your CASA Coordinator for initial approval. If the request is for $100 or less, we will fund it automatically after your Coordinator has approved it. If the request is for more than $100, it will be considered by the CASA Support Council Board of Directors after your Coordinator gives initial approval.
